Chapters in your life...

How do you define your days? Do you measure them sometimes? A good day? A bad day? Or just another day? I always think about each day. I give it a rating. Some days are dreadful. I wouldn't want them back. But, then there are days like today when everything goes so smoothly...like crystal clear water in a lake that is smooth and without ripples. Rare, I know, but I have seen one of those days on Lake Michigan and it was eerily spectacular. Today was a crystal clear, ripple-less day. One that I will measure with gratitude and love. And to finish this day off with a hot cup of chamomile tea with a touch of honey bear honey, well, that's the icing on the water.

Back in the swing of things...

School was back in session. That is easy to tell for me because I hear car doors slamming out front between 6:30 and 7:15 am because many kids get dropped of in front of our house instead of at the school. Annoying for sleeping purposes. I get up for a short time to make sure KJ is up then return to bed for an hour or two.

I am reading a good book now. Eat, Pray, Love. Elizabeth Gilbert writes like I think! Love her style!

Humility, gratitude, unconditional love

These are three things I felt today as I spent time with a dear friend. In life, you learn lessons almost daily. Some are the smaller kind that may mean something but not really life changing. The bigger lessons will redirect you onto a different path because they mean that much to you.
The biggest lessons can change your life in the most meaningful ways to make you a better human being. I know I am a better human being after today.

Plants - Third one

This is the third plant I own. It is called Orange Jessamine or Murraya Paniculata. It has a fragrant jasmine like scent when in bloom. I just had over 100 blooms in the last month. You can smell them as you walk by the plant without bending over! It is a favorite of mine for that reason.
